**Gawain Towler Talk**

Could Trump Happen Here?

British Trump.jpeg

David Bradley talks to Gawain Towler, former PR adviser to Nigel Farage for 20 years and Reform UK Head of Communications.

Revellers can tap into Gawain's unprecedented behind-the-scenes knowledge and experience of Farage, Reform UK and the whole spectrum of the UK's foremost political commentators to help answer that question.

Quiz him about whether the UK may - for good or bad - have its version of Donald Trump in Nigel Farage.

Gawain Towler
Man Behind The Scenes

Gawain Towler served as Nigel Farage's head of communications from UKIP's early days. Under Gawain's advice, guidance, and management of press relations, Nigel Farage's effect on British politics - for better or worse, depending on your views - can arguably only be rivalled by Churchill, Attlee, and Thatcher. Gawain was, until recently, Reform UK's Head of Communications, helping it to win over 4m votes at the last General Election. He is now an external affairs and PR consultant, political commentator and author. His book, published by Backbite, is due out next Autumn.

Questions we'll be delving into...

* What would a Reform-run Britain look like?

* Is Reform a M.A.G.A equivalent for Britain and a "rolling revolution" that will change UK politics?

* Is Farage really like Trump? Is he a protectionist or a free trader? Does he believe Climate Change is a "hoax"?

* Would Reform change the British Constitution and Electoral system? Or would they maintain First Past the Post if they were one of the two primary beneficiaries?

* Could Reform "drain Britain's swamp" regarding the Civil Service and local government? How could they do that in practice?

* Would they set up a DOGE - Department of Government Efficiency? Who would be Farage's Elon Musk? How much money would they save?
